Seared Tuna Steaks

Ingredients

• Tuna steaks, one per person
• Olive oil
• Soy sauce
• Salt
• Ground black pepper

Instructions

• Place frying pan on medium-high heat. Do not add oil to the pan.
• On a plate or chopping board, sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steaks and then lightly cover in oil
• Place the steaks into the hot pan and sear for 2 minutes on each side
• Use tongs to pick up the steaks and hold each edge against the pan surface until all sides are seared
• Drizzle with soy sauce and cook for another 30 seconds on each side

Serving Suggestions

Goes well with rice and salad.
