Ingredients
- Tuna steaks, one per person
- Olive oil
- Soy sauce
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
Instructions
- Place frying pan on medium-high heat. Do not add oil to the pan.
- On a plate or chopping board, sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the steaks and then lightly cover in oil
- Place the steaks into the hot pan and sear for 2 minutes on each side
- Use tongs to pick up the steaks and hold each edge against the pan surface until all sides are seared
- Drizzle with soy sauce and cook for another 30 seconds on each side
