Instructions
- Buy Rib Eye or New York Strip Steaks around 1 inch thick
- Pre-heat grill to 400 - 450 F
- Cook steaks on direct heat (medium high / 400 F) for 3 minutes
- Turn steaks over and cook for another 3 minutes
- Turn steaks over again and rotate 90 degrees (to get grid sear pattern) and cook for another 2-3 minutes
- Turn steaks over and cook for another 2-3 minutes
- Move steaks into center of grill and turn off center heat
- They are likely medium rare at this point, but cook for a little longer over indirect heat for medium well
