Ingredients (One Loaf)
- 2 cups white flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsps baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup shortening (butter)
- 3/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 large egg (beaten)
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients
- Cut in shortening with fork
- Mix the orange juice, zest, and eggs
- Mix with fork until everything is moist
- Fold in cranberries
- Pout batter into lightly greased 9” x 5” loaf pan
- Bake at 350 F for 1 hour
- Cool 10 minutes
